A two-week residency at The Atelier, above the art gallery, The Table, in Hay-on-Wye

The Doreen McIntosh Prize
In order to reflect the best in figurative painting in British Art, The Doreen McIntosh Prize is for an artist whose work fulfils the New English Art Club’s ideals of rigour, immediate engagement with the visual and a searching attitude. Value £3,000.

Ten free submissions to exhibitions by the Federation of British Artists at Mall Galleries (worth up to £200) for a first time exhibitor with the NEAC

And last, but by no means least, we are delighted to announce the recipients of the NEAC Artist Scholarships for 2023-24.
The £5,000 NEAC Scholarship Prize goes to Rae Birch CarteR.

THE 2 x £250 SCHOLARSHIP PRIZES GO TO Owain Hunt and Polly Smedley.
Congratulations to all three new NEAC Scholars who, over the coming year, will benefit from mentorship from NEAC members and free entry to all classes and workshops run by the NEAC Education Programme. Work created during their Scholarship years will be showcased in the NEAC Annual Exhibition at Mall Galleries in 2024.
