NEAC Fundraising Art Auction (Online): Featuring approx 150 original artworks by over 50 NEAC Member Artists

The New English Art Club (NEAC) presents an online auction of nearly 150 original artworks by more than 50 current member artists (and a few by dearly remembered ones).

It features an exciting, eclectic collection of works in a variety of shapes, sizes and mediums – from smaller works on paper through to oil paintings on canvas.

Included in the mix are a selection of studies and sketches, little gems that provide a glimpse into the artist's inspiration and process that often have their own unique freshness and spontaneity.

Participating Artists

The artworks are sold anonymously so you won’t know which artist’s work you are bidding on until after the auction ends. But they include many big-name, highly sought-after artists, including Diana Armfield RA, Melissa Scott-Miller and Antony Williams, plus works by recently departed Bob Brown and Richard Bawden. NEAC Presidents Richard Pikesley, Peter Brown, Jason Bowyer (1957-2019), Tom Coates (1941-2023) and current president Patrick Cullen are all also featured.

See below for a full list of participating current NEAC member artists.

Your Bid Helps Support Artists

At least 75% of the proceeds will support the NEAC’s charitable and educational aims, including the NEAC Scholarship, its Education Programme, and a series of prizes awarded at its Annual Exhibition. Founded in 1885, the NEAC celebrates its 140th anniversary in 2025, and your generosity will help safeguard its future.

Charity aside, this is a fantastic opportunity to start or grow your art collection or find a unique gift for your loved ones, and the starting prices are LOW so don’t be shy about kick-starting the bidding!

The auction opens 11am Monday 2 December and closes at 9pm Sunday 8 December.

A few things to note:

- Works are unframed and unmounted unless otherwise stated.

- P&P is free to UK addresses. When registering to bid, please ensure that the address you enter is your shipping address. If you are the winning bidder, your item(s) will be posted to this address. If you are bidding from abroad, you will be asked to pay postage at cost price.

- To reduce ‘auction sniping’, the auction will only close when no bids have been placed for 60 seconds after 9pm on Sunday 7 December.

- The artworks will be dispatched direct from the artists. So whilst we will encourage them to post them promptly, we cannot guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.
