In this online workshop and demonstration, current NEAC artist James Bland will make a transcription in oils of a work by a historical NEAC artist.
Participants will paint alongside to historical artworks of their choice. There will be a presentation and discussion at the end.
James Bland is a graduate of Canterbury Christ Church University and has received numerous prizes including the Visitors' Choice award in the 2014 Threadneedle Prize, and the Doreen McIntosh Prize at the NEAC Annual Exhibition. He has works held in many public and private collections both at home and abroad.
Oil paint or acrylics are preferred.
Attendance is via Zoom. If using a laptop, it would be helpful if attendees had a second, hand-held device, camera or ipad, for photography of their work and speedy emailing to the group.
